Dr. Carl Eilers, DDS, PC is originally from Kingsport, TN and a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with highest honors from The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Eilers completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Following residency he returned home to East Tennessee and began private practice in 2004.
Dr. Eilers is board certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Tennessee Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Eilers maintains active staff privileges at the Johnson City Medical Center where he routinely provides emergency care for patients with Maxillofacial trauma. He is regularly re-certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Eilers is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. his primary clinical interests include wisdom teeth removal, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, oral pathology and maxillofacial trauma.
Dr. Eilers is married with 2 children and an active member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
