Meet Dr. Qingcong Zeng DDS, MD
Dr. Zeng follows two straightforward principles in life: hard work and honesty. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Johns Hopkins University with Dean’s Honors. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University, graduating with high honors.
He loved that oral surgery brought together science, creativity, and service to others, leading him to further pursue specialized training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He completed a 1-year internship in General Surgery and
Anesthesiology including specific time devoted to Pediatric Anesthesia and a 6-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UAB. He also served as Chief Resident.
During his time at UAB, Dr. Zeng performed countless reconstructive surgeries on Alabama’s trauma and cancer victims. He also received extensive training in jaw surgery, temporomandibular joint disease management and management of pediatric patients. Dr. Zeng has a special interest in dentoalveolar surgery, including wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, and dental implant surgery. He is also passionate about providing safe and individualized sedation to all ages with the procedures he performs.
Dr. Zeng is board eligible for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and local dental societies. He is regularly re-certified in Basic Life Support (CPR), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
His offices in Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport are state-of-the-art surgical facilities equipped with the most current sterilization, anesthesia monitoring, and imaging equipment. He and his staff are committed to providing compassionate care of the highest quality in a timely and considerate manner.
Dr. Zeng treasures his free time with his wife, Cecelee, and their children, Lucas and Abigail. As a family, they love exploring nature and visiting the Appalachian Mountains, often accompanied by their two dogs, Raksha and Daisy.
